Author and editor, terms and payouts
Joana reads the clauses that decide what happens to your money: payout periods, ceilings, instalments, ID triggers and licences, and records each with its number and the date she read it.

Joana Teixeira
Terms, verification and payouts
Joana Teixeira writes the home comparison, the payout and privacy pages, most of the operator reviews and the country pages, and checks every claim about an operator on this site against its terms before it goes live. Her rule is simple: a rule about an operator appears here only with the clause it came from, and a rule an operator does not publish is written as not published.
What Joana covers
- Payouts. The approval period each operator writes into its terms, its weekly or daily ceiling, and the sum above which it pays in instalments.
- Verification. The sum or moment at which documents may be requested, and how long a bettor has to send them.
- Licences. The number each operator shows, the company in the register, and what the register showed on the day it was searched.
