Crypto live casino: real dealers, a crypto cashier, and the costs per hour
Casino · Live dealer
A live casino streams a real dealer from a studio and settles each round against your crypto balance. At the betting sites we cover it sits one tab from the sportsbook, under the same account. Here is what the three lobbies we read actually offer, how the games compare on cost, and what a live table can and cannot prove.
A live casino is the part of a crypto betting site that looks least like crypto. A dealer in a studio deals cards or spins a wheel on camera, the table shows a timer for bets, and the round settles against your balance in whatever coin funded it. At the operators we cover, it shares the sportsbook's account, cashier and payout clause.

What three live lobbies offer
We read three operators' live casino pages on 6 October 2026.
| Operator | Live games named | Studios named |
|---|---|---|
| Rakebit | Blackjack from Speed and Infinite to VIP tables; baccarat; game shows including Crazy Time and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand | Evolution among “60+ other providers” |
| DuckDice | Live blackjack, live roulette, live baccarat, game shows | Not named on the page we read |
| BetPlays | Live casino and game-show sections | “Providers like Evolution” |
The other nine operators run casinos too; we have not yet read their live lobbies line by line, and we do not list what we have not read.
Cost per game, and per hour
The house edge of a live game is set by its rules, exactly as at a software table. What changes is the pace.
| Live game | House edge, typical rules | Rounds per hour, roughly | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blackjack, basic strategy | about 0.5 % | 50 to 80 | Only if the table pays 3:2 |
| Baccarat, banker bet | about 1.06 % | 60 to 80 | Player bet about 1.24 %; tie bet over 14 % |
| European roulette | 2.70 % | 40 to 60 | Single zero |
| American roulette | 5.26 % | 40 to 60 | Double zero; avoid when single-zero is offered |
| Game shows | often several times roulette's | 20 to 40 | Edge varies by segment and bonus round |
Two lines deserve attention. The tie bet at baccarat looks generous at 8 to 1 and carries an edge above 14 %. And game shows, the busiest part of most live lobbies, are the dearest: the wheel's bonus rounds pay big multiples because the edge across the whole wheel is large. Each show prints its return in the help panel; read it before the first spin.
Live roulette at a single-zero table costs about the same per spin as the margin on a sportsbook single, and the spins come forty to sixty times an hour. That is the comparison worth keeping in mind when a sports balance sits in the same account.
SportsbookDeposit in USDT, BTC or ETH and bet the same dayPlace a bet18+ · the operator's terms apply to every betWhat a live table can prove, and what it cannot
A provably fair game, of the kind Rakebit, DuckDice and several others run as their own originals, lets you check each result after the fact with a published seed and hash. A live table cannot offer that. Its fairness rests on the studio: its licence, its procedures and the cameras that show every card leaving the shoe. Evolution, named by Rakebit and BetPlays, operates studios under gambling licences of its own.
That is a different kind of assurance, not a weaker one. It does mean that the questions to ask are about the studio and the operator, not about a hash.
Playing live from a crypto balance
- Fund the account once. A live table bets from the account balance; there is no separate chip purchase.
- Watch the coin's price if your balance is in bitcoin or ether. A table that shows stakes in dollars converts from your coin at the current rate, so a falling price shrinks the balance between rounds. A stablecoin avoids that.
- Mind the connection. A dropped stream mid-round is settled by the studio's rules, printed in the game's help panel.
- Set a session limit. Live rounds come with a countdown that encourages the next bet. Decide the number of rounds before sitting down.
Where live casino fits
Live casino is the social, slow end of the casino side, and its best games, blackjack on basic strategy and banker bets at baccarat, are among the cheapest bets on any crypto betting site. Its busiest games, the shows, are among the dearest. Knowing which is which is most of the skill.
For the sportsbook side of the same operators, see our crypto betting sites comparison and the 2026 report. If play has stopped feeling like a choice, our responsible gambling page lists where to get help.
