Bookmakers That Take Coins: Who Sets the Price, and What It Costs

Prices · Crypto bookmakers

A bookmaker earns its living in the gap between the odds it offers and the true chances. This ranking reads operators on that gap, where we have measured it, and on the settlement and payout terms that decide what a winning price is worth.

Crypto bookmakers are the operators that quote a price on a match and accept the stake in coins. The word matters: a bookmaker takes the other side of your bet, and its income is the margin built into the odds. This page ranks eight crypto bookmakers on two things, what their prices cost you where we have measured them, and what their terms say happens to the winnings.

The honest starting point is what we can and cannot measure. Margin changes by sport, by market and by the hour, and our operator records do not hold a margin figure for each bookmaker. What we do have is one morning of prices read on three boards, the payout clauses of every operator, and a method you can repeat on any market in a few minutes.

So the ranking below is ordered on terms, with Vave first as on every page of this site. The price section explains what our reading of the boards showed and how to run the same check yourself before you commit a balance to any of these crypto bookies.

Vave first; the rest ordered on written payout and settlement terms. Our records hold no per-operator margin; prices were read on three of these boards on 6 October 2026, and Rakebit and DuckDice showed identical lines, so they count as one price source

How to read the table. The verdict, Excellent or Good, rates how clearly each operator writes down the rules that govern your money. The payout column is the longest approval period in the terms, where one is printed. The documents column names the event that triggers an identity request. A bookmaker with a keen price and a blank in both columns is a gamble on top of the gamble.

Margin in one example

Every decimal price hides a probability: one divided by the price. A fair coin toss would be priced at 2.00 on each side, because each side has a 50 % chance. A bookmaker will not offer 2.00 and 2.00. It offers something like 1.90 and 1.90 (an example, not a live price).

On a three-way football market the same arithmetic runs over three prices. Take home 2.10, draw 3.40, away 3.60 (example prices). The implied probabilities are 0.476, 0.294 and 0.278, which add up to 1.048. Remove that overround and the fair price of the home win is about 2.20. Back the home side with 100 units at 2.10 and a win returns 210; at the fair price it would return 220. Those ten units are what the bookmaker charges, and they are charged on every winning bet, whichever of the crypto bookmakers you use.

The crypto betting odds guide goes through formats and conversions step by step. The margin calculator does the sum for any market you paste in.

What three boards showed on one morning

On 6 October 2026 our editors read twenty-five full markets across three boards. The pattern ran by sport rather than by operator: tennis match-winner prices near 5 %, most football 1X2 markets between 5.2 % and 5.9 %, three-way ice hockey near 7 %. In-play prices cost roughly one point more than pre-match, and simulated sports more again.

One finding changes how you should shop between crypto bookmakers. Rakebit and DuckDice showed four football matches at exactly the same prices, to the second decimal. Two boards on one feed are one price, however different the lobbies look. Comparing them saves nothing; comparing either with a board that sets its own numbers might. The full reading sits in the crypto betting sites report.

How to tell whether two bookmakers share a feed, on any morning:

  1. Pick three or four matches in a busy league, pre-match.
  2. Note the 1X2 or match-winner prices at each board at the same minute.
  3. If every price matches to two decimals across all of them, treat the pair as one source.

Terms that decide what a price is worth

A price is a promise to pay. At crypto bookmakers, these clauses decide how and when that promise is kept.

Approval period. Vave gives itself up to three days to approve a withdrawal (clause 8.1), Rocketpot 72 hours (clause 11.3), BetPlays five banking days (clause 6.6). Wild.io states 10 to 60 minutes. Metaspins sets no period in section 12.

Turnover and refusal grounds. Rocketpot lets you withdraw only after wagering three times the deposit (clause 11.2) and lists a deposit-to-bet pattern at odds below 1.1 as a ground to refuse (clause 11.6). Bettors who back heavy favourites at very short prices should read that clause twice. Rainbet places a one-times wager lock on crypto deposits (clause 8.7).

Ceilings. Wild.io lets $100,000 leave per week (clause 9.6), BetPlays €5,000 per week (clause 6.11) and Rakebit €10,000 per 24 hours. A bookmaker with a keen price and a low ceiling pays a big win slowly.

Documents. BetPlays asks at the first withdrawal (clause 6.1). Rocketpot names 0.05 BTC or $2,500 (clause 11.4). Rainbet gives 72 hours to complete a check once asked. Vave may ask before any payout and allows 14 days.

Choosing among crypto bookmakers

Put the two halves together and a simple order of questions appears.

  1. Does the board carry my market? Our records do not list sports per operator, so open the board and look.
  2. Is the price its own? If two boards match to the decimal, keep one and look elsewhere for a second opinion.
  3. What is the margin on my market? Measure it on the market you actually bet, not on the headline fixture.
  4. What do the terms do to a win? Approval period, ceiling, document trigger and any turnover rule.

Welcome offers belong at the end of that list, not the start. If you weigh one, read three things in its terms: the wagering multiple, the minimum odds a qualifying bet must have, and whether sports bets count towards the requirement at all. As an example, a 100-unit bonus with a 10x requirement means 1,000 units of qualifying bets, each at or above the stated minimum price, before the bonus becomes withdrawable. The crypto betting bonuses page reads those clauses in more detail.

Bookmaker, sportsbook or exchange

The three words overlap, and the difference matters for price.

For a ranking ordered by price alone, see crypto betting sites with the best odds. For football bettors, where margins vary most between leagues, the crypto football betting page goes market by market. And the full directory of crypto betting platforms lists every cashier in one table.

Margin is a cost you pay on every bet, win or lose; keep it in the same budget as your stakes. The responsible gambling page explains how to set that budget at each operator.

Comparing books on price leads to two strategies with their own guides: value betting and arbitrage betting, with the arbitrage calculator.

What is a bookmaker's margin?
It is the share of every pound staked that the bookmaker expects to keep across all outcomes of a market. Add up one divided by each decimal price; anything above 1 is the overround. On an example market priced 1.90 and 1.90 the total is 1.053, so the book keeps about five pence in every pound.
Do all crypto bookmakers set their own prices?
No. Many take prices from a supplier, and two boards on the same feed show the same numbers. On the morning our editors read three boards, two of them, Rakebit and DuckDice, matched each other on four football matches to the second decimal.
Is a lower margin always the better bookmaker?
Only if the payout terms are equal. A sharper price is worth less at an operator that takes days to approve a withdrawal, caps what can leave each week, or asks for documents at the first payout. That is why this ranking reads both.
How do I check the margin myself?
Take every outcome of one market at the same moment, convert each price to an implied probability, and add them. Our odds converter does the arithmetic. Compare like with like: pre-match against pre-match, the same market type, the same match.
